Friends of Urmston   

Hello and welcome to the Friend’s of Urmston Primary School’s page.

We are the Parent, Teachers and Friends Association (known as “the PTA”) and, as parent or carer of a child at Urmston Primary School, you are automatically a member of The PTA.

We are  a registered charity, number 1135267 and raise funds for the school to spend on additional learning activities and experiences for the children at UPS.

We are always looking for helpers for our main events which are:

Autumn Term:

Autumn Fun Night, Christmas Cards and Christmas Fair

Spring Term:

Sponsored bounce, Easter Bonnet Parade Cake Sale, Easter Fun Night

Summer Term:

Summer Fair

Don’t worry if you can’t  commit to regular meetings or every event, any and all help in planning and running these events for the children is very welcome. The PTA are very conscious that with a relatively small school community, the demands are often not as widely spread as in larger schools, and because of this, we try to raise our funds from as many different sources as possible.
